AI consulting & implementation

AI consulting that ends in a working rollout

We help growing businesses decide where AI belongs, which tools to buy, configure, or build, what rules cover data and human review, and how to get the team actually using it. Model-neutral advice first. Staged implementation when you are ready.

The wish list is the low-friction first step. The $99 consultation is a separate, paid, 1-hour live session, priced apart from any assessment, build, or support plan.

Who this is for

  • Leaders who bought AI seats or ran pilots, but usage is uneven and nobody owns the outcome.
  • Operations teams buried in repeat work that AI could draft, sort, or check, if the rules were clear.
  • Companies handling customer, financial, or regulated information that need data rules before rollout.
  • Teams stuck on whether to buy a tool, configure one, or pay to build something custom.
Deliverables

What you walk away with

Deliverables depend on scope. These are the building blocks we assemble into an assessment or a rollout plan.

AI opportunity map

Your workflows ranked by effort, risk, and value, each with an owner and a recommended path: buy, configure, or build.

Tool selection brief

A shortlist compared against your stack, data rules, and budget. We are model-neutral: general-purpose assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini are all on the table, and so are a private chat interface on your own hosting and not buying anything.

Governance pack

Draft acceptable-use rules, a data-handling matrix, review checkpoints, and provider-settings checklist. Details in the governance section below.

Pilot plan

One workflow, one owner, agreed success measures, a review cadence, and the conditions under which you stop.

Team training

Role-based sessions and short SOPs built around your own workflows and documents, not generic prompt tips.

Integration plan

Which systems to connect, what access each connection needs, and how errors and exceptions get handled.

Decision

Buy, configure, or build

Most AI projects fail on this choice, not on the technology. We make it explicit for every workflow.

Buy

Choose it when:A mainstream tool already does the job and your data rules allow it.

What we do:Compare options, check settings against your rules, help with rollout and training. No build work.

Configure

Choose it when:A tool is close, but needs your documents, instructions, workflows, or connections to be useful.

What we do:Shared projects and instructions, connectors, automation platforms, and light integration.

Build

Choose it when:Tools fall short: unusual workflow, strict review steps, your own system of record, or you need to own it.

What we do:Scope custom software or automation. See custom software development.

If the right answer is to buy a tool and stop, we will say so.

Process

Staged implementation

We roll out in stages so each step is checked by real users before the next one starts.

  1. Stage 1

    Frame

Agree the outcome, the owner, the systems involved, the data in play, and what is out of scope.

  2. Stage 2

    Pilot

One workflow with a small group of real users and human review on outputs that matter.

  3. Stage 3

    Harden

Fix exceptions, tighten access, add logging, and write the handoff documents and SOPs.

  4. Stage 4

    Expand

Add workflows or teams only when the pilot has met the measures you agreed on.

  5. Stage 5

    Support (optional)

Monitoring and small changes if we host or operate something for you. Priced separately.

Timelines are set in a written scope once we know your systems, access, data, and review turnaround. Focused pilots are often scoped in weeks and wider rollouts take longer. Estimates, not guarantees.

Governance

AI governance, sized for a growing business

Governance here means a short set of rules people actually follow, not a policy document nobody opens. We help you decide, write down, and set up the following. We do not certify compliance and we do not replace your counsel.

Data rules

Decide what may and may not go into AI tools: customer records, financials, health or legal material, credentials. Decide what stays out entirely.

Access

Who gets which tools and permissions, least-privilege connections to your systems, and how access ends when people or projects do.

Human review

Name the outputs a person must approve before they leave the building, such as customer messages, financial changes, or legal and medical content, and build that checkpoint into the workflow.

Provider settings

Retention, training, and data-location terms differ by provider, plan, and configuration. We read the terms for the plan you actually use, set what can be set, and document the rest. We do not assume any protection is on.

Logging and ownership

An owner for each workflow, a record of what automated steps did, and a clear way to report and fix mistakes.

Training and escalation

Short, role-based guidance so staff know what is allowed and who to ask when something is unclear.

What a governance engagement produces

  • Draft AI acceptable-use policy for your counsel to review
  • Data-handling matrix: what can go where
  • Approval and review map per workflow
  • Provider settings and terms checklist for each tool in use
  • Incident and escalation steps
  • A review cadence so rules keep up with new tools

Governance output is operational guidance, not legal advice or a compliance certification. Where regulated data is involved (health, financial, legal), we scope controls together with your counsel or compliance lead. How we handle your data.

Pricing & terms

How the cost works

Each kind of cost is separate, so you can say yes to one without committing to the others.

Business wish list
Share what you want AI to do, your systems, and your constraints. We reply with a suggested next step.
$99 consultation
A paid, 1-hour live session with a senior architect. It is priced separately from any assessment, build, or support plan.
Assessment or readiness work
Quoted from an agreed written scope. Nothing runs on our infrastructure, so no hosting plan applies.
Implementation
Quoted from the written scope. Build work uses 50% to start and 50% after the agreed KPI review.
Ongoing support and hosting
Only if we host or operate something for you. A monthly plan set by scope. Advisory and governance work never requires one.
AI provider and software costs
Seats, API usage, and platform subscriptions are billed by the providers and are not in our fees unless the written scope says so. The scope states whose account each one runs on.
